Don't let your skin control your life!!

Whenever I go scuba diving the goggles and beach will always break me out, and there is nothing I can do about it. Yeah, it sucks, but I was able to see so much cool things underwater!

There are so many constraints and restrictions that come with acne, but being able to live life is worth so much more than temporary pimples :) So, in conclusion, let's live life freely - the experience and memories stay with you forever, while the acne will go away.

Pimple/scar count: 1 eyebrow, 1 big on nose, 3 below nose, 4? on right cheek, many on left cheek, some on forehead - I still have no regrets. When something you love breaks you out, I hope you have no regrets too.

Also listen to your mom when she says to put on sunscreen; she is right. My skin is now burnt - it hurts and is peeling 😔

Were the brownies worth it? Always

Nobody understands acne unless they have had it. No one will understand:

- Constantly checking your skin in every mirror and in every photo

- Being so worried and scared in the morning because what if it all comes back

- Not wanting to make eye contact because "they can see my flawed skin so clearly"

- Using hair to cover up your face

- Feeling so alone.

Owie owie - beauty is pain

No matter how much pain comes with your skin struggles, there is always beauty underneath. Your skin may not be perfect now, but it will be eventually - trust me I know. In the meantime, remember the person you are beneath that layer of skin. Develop that person, so when the acne clears up, you’ll not only look good but also have a great personality—one that is more confident, empathetic, and diligent.

Post swimming skin

After swimming, my friends and I will always splash our faces with the cold clean fresh water from our water bottles to cool and rid our skin from the chlorine from the pool, helping prevent the "post swimming skin" that's spicy.
